+FR. JORGE BIDS WELCOME TO PARADISE

The Archdiocese of Caceres paid homage to the remains of Rev. Fr. Jorge B. Tirao at the Good Shepherd Chapel, HRMS, Naga City during the funeral mass last June 16, 2018. The celebration was presided over by Most Rev. Rolando J. Tria-Tirona OCD, DD., Archbishop of Caceres with the brother priests of the Archdiocese. +Rev. Fr. Jorge served God and the people of the archdiocese of Caceres for 34 years. Before he rest in peace, he was the Parish Priest of the Our Lady of Lourdes, Tandaay, Nabua, Camarines Sur. Rev. Msgr. Zosimo Sañado, the parish priest of St. Anthony of Padua, Iriga City, and a contemporary priest of Fr. Jorge delivered the homily. He shared some of his story with Fr. Jorge, the achievements and goodness as pastor of Fr. Jorge. “A man of joy and of perseverance, a man who loves Mahal na Ina and a shepherd who laid life for his sheep”, these were the affirmation given by Msgr. Sañado on the last hour of Fr. Jorge’s remains. Before the funeral mass ended, Mrs.__(name)___ sister of Fr. Jorge gave her warm gratitude to all the persons present in the funeral mass and to all the prayers and persons who gave their sympathy to the family. The remains of +Fr. Jorge was rested peacefully at the Resurrection Garden, Holy Rosary Major Seminary, Naga City.
